Angelo was a composer from the USA who rose to fame after releasing his signature melancholic soundtracks in the 1980s and the 1990s as well he produced soundtracks for David Lynch films during the early stages of his career. Angelo received several awards and he also had many nominations as well during his lifetime. Blue velvet was an art thriller/ haunting piano composition in it composed by Angelo and was adored on a higher level at moments it seemed surreal as well and this was a celebrated movie of him. While on the other hand, he also gave music to the TV series Twin Peak which was one of the great works that won him the grammy award in the year 1990.

Angelo was born in Brooklyn in 1937 and he was of Sicilian descent on his father’s family side. From the early age of 8, Angelo started playing the piano and was interested in music from a very young age. He started attending the Manhattan School of music at the age of 8 and had mastered his music skills from the school itself. Other than composition, Angelo also used to write scenes and scores for action films as well which he did marvellously in the classical Gordon’s war that was released back in the 1970s and also wrote songs for it as well like Nina Simone.

Blue velvet was a hit masterpiece that is still appreciated and also loved by many music lovers. Lynch while making the series said that he wanted to create a track that has a bit of spookiness and also a darkness to it, so Angelo produced his music for the theme songs and various other songs of it. Some of their commendable works of Angelo were Wild at heart, Lost Highway, and The straight story as well. while Angelo also worked with many great directors like Jane Campion in Holy smoker, Danny Boyle in The beach, paul Schrader in the comfort of strangers etc. Other than that he also wrote the song called The flamingo arrow in the rock theme for the summer Olympics of 1992. It was mentioned that Angelo passed away at the age of 85 and he was surrounded by his loved ones at the time of his demise. Although earlier the cause was not mentioned it was later added that Angelo passed away due to natural causes and he was in his house in New Jersey. Apart from receiving a Grammy award, Angelo also received three times Emmy nominations as well and his masterpiece went gold in 25 countries other than the USA. Information surrounding his funeral and his memorial is yet to be revealed.
